Each month I thought I’d share with you other local businesses whom I meet on my journey so you too can build up a little black book of great local designers whom you can turn to for your products. I am constantly blown away by the creativity and energy of these people and the passion they pour into what they do.

Last night I met a lovely lady for the second time. We first met at Life Instyle, earlier this year as “First Instylers”. That is the term they give new businesses who are in a special section displaying their wares for the first time. My immediate impression was that she would be FUN. Big smile, happy and creative person. So I went and chatted to her and found out she is a local northern beaches girl, graphic designer, creating her own range of stationary called Foxandbeau.

Lets roll forward three months and in my exploration of sales channels we met again. This time at an evening college and she is taking a course on how to run successful market stalls. Having done it for many years she shared her tricks of the trade and we promised to keep in touch. I know it won’t be long before we meet again! But in the meantime I believe in supporting Australian designed and made. I love clever and creative people and especially believe those that give it a go and put themselves out there, shouldreap the rewards for their bravery. Encase any of you are like me and have to manage all the extended family birthdays each year and always leave it to the last minute here is your chance. She also does custom invites too…

Check out Foxandbeau.com.au. I have put some of her cards below to entice you. Instead of buying at the news agency at the last minute. Get a bit organised and buy online for the birthdays /event coming up this year…….I know Amy would love to hear from you too!
